Aquaplancton comes in a range of different sizes from 5 to 55 pounds.
There is no need to measure the depth of your pond no matter how deep it is just calculate the surface area at roughly the length times the width in feet. You can always call us for help with odd shaped ponds. Please do not under dose and an over dose will not be harmful to your fish. The calculator below the products will tell you how many square feet of water you have. The first treatment is then one pound of AQUAPLANCTON for every ten square feet of water you have in your pond but we suggest buying enough for a possible follow up “boost” 1/4 of this first dose. If, as an example, you have 80 square feet of pond water the first does is eight pounds and the second if needed is two pounds for a total of ten pounds.

The AQUAPLANCTON treatment is applied at the rate of one pound for every ten square feet of pond surface water. For a stubborn attack of algae you should allow for a second dose 1/4 for the first applied 4-6 weeks later. That is usually enough for the season but should algae come back later on just add a small dose just 1/10th of the initial dose should clear the pond. The calculators below should assist you in determining that first dose in pounds. You cannot overdose your pond with AQUAPLANCTON but the product may not work well if you under dose.
