- ALL SOLAR PUMPS NEED SUNSHINE: This is a solar-powered submersible waterfall pump, not a fountain pump (check this site for those) It requires direct sunlight to operate, with 6-8 hours of runtime on sunny days and none on cloudy days. The pump includes a 16-foot cord, extendable by 16 or 32 feet with our extenders for better sun exposure. If your pond lacks consistent sunlight, this may not be the best option. The panels do not store power, and this model will not work with a battery, but most other models do. This is the smallest of our three waterfall pumps. Please visit our site for optional batteries, filter box, cord extenders, accessories, and fountain pumps.
- POWERFUL PUMP KIT: My Natural Pond 25W 658 GPH Submersible Solar Powered Pond Pump Kit is ideal for smaller ponds up to 1,000 gallons, with waterfalls up to three feet high. While electric pumps are more reliable for consistent power, our solar kits are a great choice when solar is the only option or to avoid higher electricity bills. These pump kits are among the most powerful in their price range, ensuring vigorous water movement and waterfall aeration, which are essential for a healthy pond. This environmentally friendly solar pump helps prevent stagnation and promotes a balanced ecosystem, supporting overall pond health.
- ALL-INCLUSIVE KIT: This kit is ready to go within minutes on a sunny day. It includes a 25W solar panel (21x15 inches), a panel stand, 16 feet of one-inch hose, and a powerful solar water pump. The pump has a max head of 6 feet, but for best results, keep the height below 4 feet. The 16-foot cord allows flexible panel placement to capture optimal sunlight. For more length, wire extenders are available to position the panel in the sunniest spot. This all-in-one kit offers a convenient, sustainable solution for harnessing solar power for your pond.
- YOU HAVE A RANGE OF OPTIONS: With a max output of 658 GPH, this is the smallest of our three solar panel pond pump kits. For more power, we offer a 50W and 100W versions and a 50W kit with a battery for extended runtime. While this model has no battery, batteries are available for other twin-panel kits. Be sure to review battery limitations before purchasing. If pond aeration is your priority, one of our fountain pumps may be a better fit. Explore our site to find the ideal solution for your pond.
- OUTSTANDING RELIABILITY & SERVICE FROM CA: Our solar pumps use a proprietary brushless design, reducing maintenance and featuring a dry run cut-off to prevent damage when not fully submerged. Cleaning is easy—just press two buttons to open the case. Over the last five years, we've sold over 2,500 pump kits, demonstrating their durability and reliability. All our pumps and solar panels are backed by world-class customer service based in California, available seven days a week. How do I install a solar pond pump?
Installation is easy! Place the solar panel in a sunny location, connect it to the pump, and submerge the pump in your pond. No wiring or electrician needed.
What size pump do I need for my pond?
Choose based on your pond size and desired water height. Small kits work for ponds up to 500 gallons, while larger models suit 1000+ gallon ponds. Check our product specs for flow rate details.
Will the pump work on cloudy days or at night?
Our kits operate best in direct sunlight. Some models include a battery backup for partial operation in low light or evening hours.
