Please note that these pumps require sunlight to operate. The 50W and 100W pumps can function in hazy sunshine. The gallons per hour measurement is based on maximum sunlight, and it may vary depending on your location and the time of year.

For the past six years, we have been selling solar pump kits featuring these pumps, which have proven to be highly reliable, powerful, and easy to clean. It is important to note that these pumps should not be placed at the bottom of a pond; instead, they should be elevated on a few bricks to prevent excessive debris intake. They are not suitable for constantly dirty water or for pumping out muddy water. However, they are excellent for regular freshwater ponds. Please be aware that the pump may be too large for water features like statues or very small ponds under 100 gallons.

Externally, all pumps look identical, but each one has different speed specifications in terms of gallons per hour and maximum head height.

The maximum head refers to the height at which the pump can effectively pump water, measured from the surface of the water to the highest point where you intend to run a waterfall.

Please take note of the different specifications for running the pump at 12V or 18V. All pumps come with a 16-foot cable that terminates in a proprietary connector compatible with our solar pump complete kits. Additionally, each pump includes a short cable that can connect to the pump cable and provides a pair of flat connectors suitable for connection to a car battery or similar power source. Please refer to the provided pictures, as they apply to all models.

We also offer 16 or 32-foot extenders that can be used to position the solar panels further away from the pond. This allows for optimal sunlight reception and/or the ability to hide the panels from view.
